Ongar Badminton Club

Ongar Badminton Club in Essex was formed in 1951 and continues to grow from strength to strength, providing a competitive, friendly and affordable weekly evening meeting for players of club standard.

​Ongar Badminton Club meets every Tuesday evening from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm for club sessions. We also play competitive matches in the Brentwood & District League.

We welcome Intermediate to Advanced players. You should be comfortable rallying, have a reliable serve and be familiar with a range of shots such as smashes and drop shots. Also have an understanding of doubles tactics and positioning during a rally.

Most importantly, we’re a friendly club that enjoys good games and supports players in continuing to improve.
